I love writing because I love telling stories. I have my whole life. When I was a kid, a prerequisite to taking a bath was careful consideration of which Pokemon figures I would select to enact my latest drama. There was deep-seated lore, betrayal, backstories, character development, themes; you name it, my bath time showdowns had it.

Some 30 years later, I’m lucky enough that a significant portion of my professional life is spent plying the same craft that brought me so much joy as a child. As a marketing and communications professional, storytelling is integral to what I do. I am proud of the work I put out and thankful that I get to create for a living.

My career is rewarding and fulfilling in it’s own right, but there has always been a larger dream beckoning to me: becoming a published author. In the fall of 2024, I enrolled in Drexel University’s MFA in Creative Writing program to seriously pursue that goal.

This site serves as a portfolio, a journal, an archive, and anything else that pops into my head as I continue to look for ways to do what I love.
